Miss Global Context 2023 : Lyne Malele Presents Vision

Miss Lyne Malele will from November 11 to 25, 2023, represent Cameroon at the Miss Global Contest to hold in Vietnam, a competition for pageants. Ahead of the contest, she was in Buea on August 1, 2023, on a radio tour where she presented her vision to the varied listeners of the South West Region and beyond, clamoring for the population’s massive support (through voting and sponsorship) as she takes the lead to represent Cameroon at the international pageant contest. 
During her sensitization tour, the damsel presented her vision of advocating for young girls’ menstrual hygiene and plans of providing sanitary pads to the needy.  The sanitary pads, she said, are basic human rights to all girls. “I got worried when I saw the outrageous cost of sanitary pads billed at FCFA 750 to 800 per package. Averagely, a woman uses two packets monthly. Its expensive nature makes pads unaffordable to an average income earner. When you think of the average girl in the village who is schooling and cannot afford the pads and have to stay out of school during her period, then there is need to assist,” she explained.
