Murdered Ndian Divisional Delegates : Corpses Exhumed In Ekondo Titi

The remains have been deposited at the Limbe Regional Hospital Mortuary pending handing over to the various families.

Five bodies of the six Ndian Divisional Delegates kidnapped on Tuesday June 15, 2021 and later on murdered by separatists led by 10 Kobo have been exhumed in a locality called Makobeh in Ekondo Titi Subdivision. The exhumation in the present of State authorities under the supervision of Gilbert Guibai Baldena, Senor Divisional Officer for Ndian, took place on Sunday August 6, 2023 starting 10: 30 am and lasted till 2 pm. They were kidnapped on that ill-fated day at Masore village on their way to Ekondo Titi from Mundemba Town, their station. In effect, there were five Divisional Delegates and one chief of service that were kidnapped, bringing the number to six. Those whose corpses were exhumed are Ndong Felicia- Delegate MINDHU, Mbida Armand Christian – Delegate MINPMESSA, Mambele –Delegate MINCAF, Elad Emmanuel – Delegate Water & Energy and Agbor Stephen – Chief of Surveys MINCAF. 
Lt Colonel Nguele Joseph of South West Gendarmerie Legion who led the exhumation operation explained that Mabia Johnson – Delegate of MINEPAT was killed by the separatists at Kika as they were being led by the secessionists to their hideout. The corpse was recovered along the road and handled to the family. 
The scene of exhumation is Makobeh in the forest. It is estimated at 20 kilometres from Ekondo Titi town. The journey started at 6 am with a one hour drive in military all-terrain vehicles and ended at Lipenja Camp, now escaped by all inhabitants. From Lipanja Camp to Makobeh, it took one hour and 45 minutes of fast trekking under heavy downpour and the return trip was the same.
