Warm Reception, Diligent Deliberations

From arrival to departure, Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute was given the respects worthy of his rank by the population.

To touch and feel Joseph Dion Ngute, Cameroon’s Prime Minister, Head of Government, has often taken the allure of a quest. The people of the South West know the man and enjoy his presence. They say he is affable, less assuming and listens closely. Others see in the man a sharing gentleman who wishes good for the people.
These qualities were once more verified in Joseph Dion Ngute as he led the National Committee for the Follow-up of the Implementations of the Recommendations of the Major National Dialogue intended to ensure sustainable and inclusive development. As a traditional ruler, a leader and an elite of the region, the Prime Minister experienced the warmth and cheering of his people. Spectacular in nature was also the spontaneous escort provided by local bike riders in their hundreds who chose to accompany their idol to the destination of Mountain Hotel.
Amidst the euphoria, questions crossed the lips as to what had brought the man here in the South West Region at this time in point. The banners flaunted in town provided quick answers to the questions. He has come to ensure that projects earmarked for Anglophone Cameroon ensuing from the Major National Dialogue are timely and correctly realised to general satisfaction.  Roads, water, electricity and security are top the list of expectations. Unfortunately, some already achieved infrastructure like schools, hospitals and State edifices have suffered enormous destruction.
