Bilateral Cooperation : China Donates To Chantal Biya Foundation

The fruitful cooperation ties between the Chinese Embassy in Cameroon and the Chantal Biya Foundation were underscored on Friday, August 18, 2023 in Yaounde. The occasion was the donation by the Chinese Embassy of a consignment consisting of computers, cleaning kits and food items to the Chantal Biya Foundation in the premises of the diplomatic mission.
Ambassador Wang Yingwu handed over the donation to Mrs. Habissou Bidoung Mkpatt, Secretary General of the Chantal Biya Foundation. His Excellency Wang Yingwu said his country appreciates its “fruitful cooperation in different domains with the Government of Cameroon. As well as the fraternal cooperation with the Chantal Biya Foundation.” Adding, “I hereby present the greetings of the Chinese First Lady, Mrs. Peng Liyuan to the First Lady of Cameroon, Mrs. Chantal Biya.” 
Responding, Mrs. Habissou Bidoung Mkpatt said the Chantal Biya Foundation and its founding President, First Lady Mrs. Chantal Biya sincerely appreciate the long period of cooperation with the People’s Republic of China. “Mrs. Chantal Biya is grateful for the support the foundation has been receiving each year from the Chinese Embassy. Thanks once more. I will pass on the greetings of the First Lady of China to the First Lady of Cameroon, Mrs. Chantal Biya,” Mrs. Habissou Bidoung promised. 
Earlier, Mrs. Habissou Bidoung and Ambassador Wang Yingwu held talks in the latter’s office, and later signed documents to officially acknowledge the donation. At the end of the handover of the donation, Mrs. Habissou Bidoung presented the Chinese Ambassador with a present on behalf of First Lady, Mrs. Chantal Biya.
