China-Cameroon Business Cooperation Forum : Fourth Edition Holds In October

Minister Felix Mbayu granted audience to the promoter of FOCAB in Cameroon, Jules Noumo on August 18, 2023 who presented an overview of the upcoming event.

Bilateral relations between Cameroon and China are said to be flourishing with efforts being made by either party to further strengthen ties. As concerns economic cooperation, there exist the China Cameroon Business Cooperation Forum which holds annually and brings together economic operators of the two countries.  The fourth session of the forum is slated to take place in Guangzhou, China from October 15-25, 2023. It is within this framework that the Promoter of the China-Cameroon Business Cooperation Forum in Cameroon, Jules Noumo was at the Ministry of External Relations to present the economic guidelines and overview of the meeting. He was to this effect granted an audience by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu. 
Jules Noumo told journalists after the audience that he used the opportunity to present the major innovations of the forum which serves as a mechanism of supporting the economic development of the country. “The next forum is previewed for October 15 -25 in Guangzhou, China. It was thus a moment for us to present the innovations of our forum, notably the organisation of an edition per year in Cameroon at the Yaounde Conference Centre. It is important for us to inform all Cameroonians that as from next year, we will organise an edition of FOCAB in Cameroon to enable Cameroonian entrepreneurs to exploit opportunities offered by this strategic partner,” he stated.
