Bamenda : Campuses Undergoing Facelift

Preparations are heightering as many institutions plan to open their doors for the 2023/2024 academic year.

From every indication, the 2023 /2024 academic year in the Metropolitan Bamenda will be more effective as many institutions plan to open their doors for the teaching and learning process. The race to maintain the Motto of the region as the citadel of education as referred to by many is real. 
Some institutions whose doors were closed for the past six years are planning to open them this year. 
Stakeholders including proprietors, parents, teachers, students and pupils are working hard towards a more effective back-to-school in Bamenda. After a visit to a number of institutions in Bamenda I, II and III whose names are not mentioned for security reasons, it is very evident that no school wants to be left behind.  As CT visited some of these institutions last Friday 12, 2023, our team noticed that the various campuses were either involved in renovations including ; painting to beautify the campuses, acquisition of more benches, clearing of over-grown campuses, registration of old and new students and pupils, interviews to recruit the teaching staff for the academic year 2023/2024 were ongoing. In some campuses, lists of teachers earmarked as staff were seen posted on the walls to better inform them.
