Women’s African Nations Volleyball Championship : Lionesses Receive Bonuses

At the close of the 21st edition of the Women’s African Nations Volleyball Championship, the volleyball Lionesses have received their bonuses from the Cameroon Volleyball Federation. A ceremony to bid farewell to the players took place in Yaounde on Friday August 25, 2023. It was an opportunity to hand over gadgets of the competition to the players after winning bronze at the just ended African Nations Volleyball Championship in Yaounde. 
Speaking at the occasion, the President of the Cameroon Volleyball Federation, Bello Bourdanne announced that the players would receive their bonuses (participation and bronze medal) by bank transfer from today Monday, August 28, 2023. "The Cameroon Volleyball Federation and the State of Cameroon know how to recognise a job well done, and these children have defended the colours of the Republic. As usual, we always have a farewell ceremony to show our gratitude and depending on the winners, we have bonuses which are allocated by the State and we have come to make this bonus available to them,” he said.  
The team captain, Simone Bikatal, on behalf of the team thanked the head of state for giving his accord for the organization of the 21st edition of the Women’s African Nations Championship.
