China : Ecstasy Of Climbing The Great Wall

Right from when it was announced that a visit to the Great Wall is one of the activities of the of the seminar of Young Media Professionals for African Countries ongoing in China, participants already began preparing the appropriate outfits.

The organisers of the seminar; China Radio and Television Corporation for International Techno-Economic Cooperation were equally bracing up to make sure that the visit goes on smoothly. When the D-day finally came on September 10, 2023, the participants all came down from their different hotel rooms at the Beijing Dahongmen International Convention and Exhibition Center smartly dressed with the objective of discovering the “mystery” of climbing The Great Wall; one of the new seven wonders and world’s cultural heritages. For close to two hours, the participants traveled through the city of Beijing having an apercu of the beautiful setup as well as landscape. 

When they arrived The Great Wall, the enthusiasm multiplied. From the start, the notices containing precautionary measures are clear, with one being; “If you have heart or brain disease, please climb The Great Wall according to your capability,”. The beginning seemed a little relaxed, but after the second fortress, the participants began multiplying their rest stops.
