MINDEF: US Security Cooperation Chief Honoured

Major Thomas Brooks was decorated with the medal of Knight of National Order of Valour on February 27, 2017.

Cameroonian authorities have once more recognized the contribution of the United States of America in the ongoing fight against Boko Haram and insecurity in general. Major Thomas Brooks, Chief Officer of Security Cooperation in US Embassy in Yaounde was on February 27, 2017 raised to the rank of Knight of the National Order of Valour.
President Paul Biya on February 6, 2017 exceptionally raised the outgoing US Security Cooperation Chief to the rank of Knight of Cameroon National Order of Merit. The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Joseph Beti Assomo on behalf of the Head of State decorated  him with the medal in the presence of the Ambassador of the United States of America to Cameroon, Michael Stephen Hoza.
