Investing In Cameroon : Turkish Investors On Prospection Mission

The over 30 companies from Turkey will be in Cameroon from 1-5 October 2023.

The Turkey-Cameroon trade mission and B2B meeting has open in Douala on October 3. The Turkish delegation, that is made up of over 30 companies is in Douala to prospect for possible areas of investment in Cameroon. For five days, the Turkish investors will be meeting with the businessmen and women in Cameroon to discuss possible business ventures and partnership.
While opening the business meeting in Douala on October 3. The Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, said the structural transformation of Cameroon's economy is open to investors and facilitating trade and regional integration. He emphasized that the meeting is a result of the cordial relationship between both countries. Mr Mbarga Atangana said as the gateway to the central African subregion, Cameroon has a huge market and the region has a potential of almost 1.3 billion consumers, where products circulate freely from one area to another without hindrance. He assured the investors that investing in Cameroon is investing in an open market with a prosperous future.
On his part, the Turkish Ambassador to Cameroon, His Excellency Volkan Isikci, urged the different investors to use every opportunity to make business in Cameroon.
