National Institute of Youth And Sports : 173 Laureates Receive Testimonials

The solemn diploma award ceremony to the 2023 batch of the institution took place in Yaounde on Friday October 20, 2023.

The premises of the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS) in Ngoa-Ekelle, Yaounde, were exceptionally busy on Friday October 20, 2023. The event was the solemn diploma award ceremony to the 2023 batch of the institution. Presided over by the Director of INJS, Ebal Minye Edmond, the ceremony was organised under the patronage of its Academic Guardian, the Ministry of Higher Education, technical guardian, the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education and financial guardian, the Ministry of Finance. Friends, relatives and well-wishers thronged the campus carrying bouquets of flowers to congratulate the laureates. A total of 173 laureates amongst them 39 holders of Senior Youth and Action Counsellor Diploma, 56 holders of Sports and Physical Education Teachers’ Diploma, 25 holders of Youth and Action Counsellor Diploma, 53 holders of Assistant Sports and Physical Education Teachers’ Diploma received their testimonials.  
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Ebal Minye Edmond said last Friday’s ceremony reflects a rendez-vous of great importance and permits the National Institute of Youth and Sports not only to magnify, and celebrate academic and professional excellence, but also and most especially constitutes an opportunity for the effective and efficient operationalization of the Head of State in the domains of Animation and Leisure and Civic Education, and in the Sciences and Technics of Sports and Physical Education Activities.
