Mamfe Gruesome Killings : Widespread Indignation!

Indeed horrible as Cameroonians woke up to the unimaginable on November 6, 2023 in a village in Egbekaw, Mamfe town, Manyu Division of the South West Region. Over 10 houses were set ablaze and burnt to ashes with their occupants in their sleep. It is said some were raped before being killed. Most of the corpses were burnt beyond recognition. The gruesome attack, which is a bridge to the right of life, has been condemned by personalities and citizens across the board. The hurt is heavy and damage irreplaceable. Government officials, local authorities and traditional rulers have extended their condolences to the families of the victims as well as wished a speedy recovery to those in hospitals.
