The former Indomitable Lion passed away on January 13, 2024 following an illness.

Former Indomitable Lion, Bertin Ollé Ollé is no more. The former Indomitable Lion died in Yaounde on January 13, 2024 following an illness. In recent years, the footballer had been in poor health and had not been in the limelight until his last day on earth. A versatile player, this midfielder who also played as a defender, had a successful career with Tonnerre Kalara Club of Yaounde in the 70s and 80s, during the glory days of the ‘Blancs de Mvog Ada’. He won several national trophies (cups and championships). With the Indomitable Lions, Bertin Ollé Ollé captained the U-20 national team that took part in the 1981 World Cup in Australia. He was also part of the team that won the 1988 African Cup of Nations.
