Cameroon Cycling Federation : Board Members Approve New Calendar

The calendar of activities for the 2024 sports season of the Cameroon Cycling Federation (FECACYCLISME) has been made public. The announcement was made during an Ordinary General Assembly of FECACYCLISME that took place on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the headquarters of the federation in Anguissa, Yaounde. At the end of the discussions, the members resolved that the opening of the 2024 sports season for the cycling federation will take place on January 28, 2024 in Yaounde. It will be a closed circuit race of 100km along some streets in Yaounde with the May 20 Boulevard as the departure and arrival points.  The competition will unfold in the senior, junior and women riders from all 10 regions of Cameroon. 
According to the new calendar, the first edition of the Chantal Biya VTT National Cycling Race will take place on March 30, 2024 in Bagofit Sun City, in the Eastern Region, in the Upper Nyong Division. The International Cycling Tour of Cameroon will take place from May 29 to June 9, 2024, the Chantal BIYA International Cycling Race and the Grand Prix Ongola from 1 to 6 October 2024. The second edition of the Chantal Biya VTT National Cycling Race will take place in Bagofit Sun City December 7, 2024.
