Appointment of Ngole Philip Ngwese : Kupe Muanenguba’s Gratitude To President Paul Biya

Traditional rulers, CPDM party bigwigs and elite of the Division converged on the residence of the newly appointed Cameroon’s High Commissioner to Canada on Wednesday January 31 to congratulate him for his nomination.

They came from all the nocks and crannies of the three subdivisions (Bangem, Nguti and Tombel) that make up Kupe Muanenguba Division in the South West Region to celebrate and congratulate one of theirs, Ngole Philip Ngwese, appointed on January 18, 2024 to head Cameroon’s diplomatic mission to Canada. Led by their traditional rulers, parliamentarians, CPDM party stalwarts and a cream of elite, the people of Kupe Muanenguba expressed their profound gratitude to the President of the Republic, Paul Biya, for yet another recognition of one of theirs to the prestigious post of Cameroon’s High Commissioner to Canada. 
The event at the Yaounde residence of the newly appointed High Commissioner was packed with traditional and cultural rituals as the people of Kupe Muanenguba did not only converge to thank President Paul Biya but also beseeched the Almighty God and their ancestors to grant their son wisdom as he carries on with his new functions in a faraway land. The President of Kupe Muanenguba Cultural and Development Association (KUMUACUDA), Lawrence Orloh Enongene, described the appointment as an “important visitor” which has chosen to visit Kupe Muanenguba yet again. The KUMUACUDA president said “we are here to say a huge thank you to the Head of State, President Paul Biya, for having slanted the butcher’s knife in favour of the people of Kupe Muanenguba while sharing the national cow.” He however implored the traditional rulers to unite the top political elite of the Division who are in disperse ranks.
The President of the Kupe Muanenguba Chief’s Conference, HRH Dume Valentine, described Ngole Philip Ngwese as a major developer and peace crusader while congratulating him for once more meriting the confidence of the President of the Republic.
