Gymnastics : International Federation To Assist Cameroon

The Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi granted audience to the President of the International Gymnastics Federation Watanabe Morinari on Tuesday February 20, 2024 in his cabinet. Speaking at the audience the diplomat said the International Gymnastics Federation wants to support the development of gymnastics in Cameroon. He said seven years ago he was in Cameroon and he saw that gymnastics is developing but there was much to do. He said Cameroon is in the process of developing and they have reached the second step. The second step means the athletes can participate in the World Championship. And as a result they need harder training with equipment and infrastructure. “I understand they are developing. We need to find a special place for training,” he said.
