Protection of Public Funds : Inspectors Upgrade Control Techniques

A capacity building training of Inspectors of Services from some ministerial departments opened on March 6, 2017 in Yaounde.

In a bid to harmonise control mechanisms and bridge audit reports inadequacies gap, the Supreme State Audit Office has organized a capacity building workshop for Inspectors of Services drawn from some 17 ministerial departments. The training that opened in Yaounde on March 6, 2017 under the aegis of the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit, Rose Mbah Acha Fomundam, is focusing on “methodology and verification techniques.”
By the end of the refresher course on March 17, 2017, the Inspectors of Services who are internal auditors in their respective ministries would be equipped with techniques and mythologies to enable them carry out controls and verifications according to national and international standards.
