Chantal Biya Mountain Bike Race : Preparations Intensify

Barely one month to the Chantal Biya Mountain Bike Race known by the French acronym as “Course VTT Chantal BIYA” preparations have intensified in the country. The fifth preparatory meeting took place in Yaounde on Wednesday February 28, 2024. The meeting was co-chaired by the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Joseph LE, Elite of the East Region and Promoter of the event and the President of the Cameroon Cycling Federation, Honoré Yossi. 
For close to five hours, members of the sub-commissions of the organizing committees discussed strategies for the perfect organisation of the event, which will include sporting, cultural, humanitarian and health activities, as well as an economic and cultural exhibition at the Bagofit Sun City sports, cultural and agro-pastoral complex on 28, 29 and 30 March 2024. The heads of the different technical sub-committees submitted their action plans to the organising committee, together with a statement of their requirements for carrying out their respective tasks. At the end of the meeting Minister Joseph LE urged the members of the organising committee to be available, efficient and willing to help ensure the success of the event, whose patron is the wife of the Head of State, Mrs. Chantal Biya.
