North West : New ELECAM Regional Delegate Commissioned

Mbowoh Elvis was officially installed by the Director General of Elections at ELECAM, Dr. Erik Essousse on March 14, 2024 at the Ayaba Hotel in Bamenda.

The North West Region has a new Regional Delegate at the helm of Elections Cameroon (ELECAM). Mbowoh Elvis was officially commissioned by the Director General of Elections at ELECAM, Dr Essousse Erik on March 14, 2024 in Bamenda in the presence of the Chairperson of the Electoral Board, Dr. Enow Abrams Egbe, North West Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique and other stakeholders of the electoral process.
He takes over from Zofoa Njoya Sake who equally earned the confidence of the hierarchy of the institution and was transferred to head the South West Regional as Delegation of ELECAM. During the event in Bamenda, the new ELECAM boss was charged to continue to fly the flag of the institution higher. He has as responsibility amongst others, to ensure an increase in the enrollment of more citizens of voting age in the electoral registers   especially youths, women and persons with disabilities. He is expected to take full charge in issues relating to ELECAM including the management of staff and equipment of the institution. Mbowoh Elvis was urged to ensure a close collaboration of ELECAM with all stakeholders of the electoral process notably political parties, the administration, judiciary, traditional authorities, civil society organisations and the media.
