National VTT Chantal Biya Cycling Race : Organisers Make Final Touches

Less than two weeks to the first edition of the National VTT Chantal Biya Cycling Race, preparations have reached fever pitch. The seventh and last preparatory meeting took place in Yaounde on Wednesday March 20, 2024. The meeting was co-chaired by the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Joseph LE, Elite of the East Region and Promoter of the event and the President of the Cameroon Cycling Federation, Honoré Yossi. 
Speaking at the occasion, Minister Joseph LE used the occasion to announce that the event will be launched on March 28, 2024 with a sports walk in Abong-Mbang. He equally used the occasion to thank all the partners for the concern in the organization of the event. He urged the committee members to work hand-in-glove to ensure a successful event.
Last Wednesday’s meeting brought together presidents of the different technical sub-committees in charge of the organization and also representatives of the Chantal Biya Foundation, the Chantal Biya International Reference Centre (CIRCB), African Institute of Computer sciences (IAI-Cameroon), among other partners. The agenda focused on the state of preparedness of the committees. The heads of the different technical sub-committees submitted their action plans to the organising committee, together with a statement of their requirements for carrying out their respective tasks.
