Heads of State of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) have fully put in place men and women to pilot all institutions of the sub-regional body. They have also reviewed the path covered in sub-regional integration, outlining new directives which if effectively implemented can take the six-member economic bloc up another growth echelon.
This is the outcome of an extra-ordinary Summit of CEMAC Heads of State chaired on April 9, 2024, through video conference, by President Faustin-Archange Touadéra of the Central African Republic in his capacity as the President of the CEMAC Heads of State Conference. At that time, the Heads of State opted to review the post of Secretary General of COBAC on a later date. This was therefore the reason for Tuesday’s over two hours 30 minutes conclave.
