North West : Momo Fons To Foster Peace, Dev’t

Fons across Momo Division in the North West Region have taken a new stand to ensure peace, unity and the development of the area. This was during a first-ever dialogue meeting with all the Fons, organised by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit Office, Mbah Acha Rose who is a proud daughter of Momo. They discussed under the theme, “Momo Fons for peace, unity and development.”  These custodians of tradition pledged to transform Momo through their contributions as the traditional leaders of the people.
Speaking shortly after receiving all the Fons and Ardos of Momo, Minister Mbah Acha Rose said she was very happy with the massive turnout though at a very short notice. She said the Fons were happy and enthusiastic as they discussed together to chart a new era for Momo Division. They expressed their worries which were looked into by the Minister as she revealed the motive of his mission which included promoting the return of peace to Momo Division, and the return of traditional rulers to their palaces to head their subjects and children back home. She also encouraged them to work hard for schools to open their doors in villages to enable Momo children study. like their peers of other regions.
