West Region : Muslim Faithful Thank President Paul Biya

Muslim in Bafoussam and West Region in general have extended words of appreciation to the Head of State, President Paul Biya, for being a leader who works towards preserving the wellbeing of its population. They described President Paul Biya as a “President who loves sharing with one another and a problem solving father for the betterment of Cameroonians”.  These words of appreciation were made by the Imam of the Bafoussam Central Mosque, Alhadji Arouna Adoulaye, who led hundreds of Muslim faithful to the West Regional Governor’s office on April 19, 2024, to hand over a “Thank you Letter” addressed to President Paul Biya.  They thanked the Head of State for offering the sum of FCFA 1,560,000,000 to Muslim faithful in Cameroon to assist them travel to the holy land of Mecca in Saudi Arabia for this year’s pilgrimage.
