North West : Over 31 Regional Delegates Commissioned

Some 31 Regional Delegates appointed since 2020 to the North West Region were commissioned to office on Friday, April 19, 2024.
Speaking during the installation ceremony which took place at the courtyard of the Mezam Senior Divisional Officer’s esplanade in Bamenda, the Governor of the North West Region, Adolphe Lele Lafrique urged the delegates to respect the respective roadmaps of their various ministries as well as implement the laws and regulations of their different ministerial departments. He also urged them to be agents of peace and development saying they are the first batch of Delegates appointed in the Region since the institution of the Special Status by the Head of State in the North West and South West Regions. He also asked them to assist the Regional Assembly and Municipal authorities to attain the development goals of the Region. He equally called on them to show professional consciousness, moral rectitude and fight against corruption and the phenomenon of ghost workers.
