American Football Africa Cup Of Nations : Cameroon To Host First Edition

Cameroon will host the first edition of the Africa Cup of Nations for American Football. This is the substance of an audience granted by the Minister of Sports and Physical Edition, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, to the President of the International Federation of American Football, Pierre Trochet on Friday May 10, 2024 in his cabinet. Pierre Trochet who was on a three-day working visit to Cameroon, made a stop at the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education to have discussions on the upcoming competition that will take place next year.
Speaking at the audience, Minister Mouelle Kombi said he was happy to receive Pierre Trochet during his first visit as president of the International American Football Federation. He promised the support of the ministry in their projects and assured him of Cameroon’s capabilities in hosting major events notably the upcoming African Athletics championship that will take place next month in Douala with 54 nations participating. 
Pierre Rochet said he is confident with the capacity of Cameroon to host the Africa Cup of Nations in American football.
