SDF Galvanises Towards Convention

Ahead of the party's convention come next month, primaries are underway to elect delegates.

The leading opposition party in Cameroon, the Social Democratic Front (SDF), is presently doing some ground works ahead of its convention in Bamenda. The convention which is planned from April 27- 29, 2017 will deliberate on some party's issues and will obviously revisit some party decisions. The convention is highly awaited as it will be the forum for members of the ruling organ of the SDF, National Executive Committee (NEC) and those of the National Advisory Council (NAC) to be elected.
Delegates are expected to come from all the 10 regions of Cameroon. It is for this reason that  various electoral districts are holding meetings and electing delegates to take part at the convention. Moreover, candidates who want to take up positions in the National Executive Committee -NEC of the SDF are currently filling forms.
