Douala General Hospital : New Deputy Director General Commissioned

Prof. Danielle Christiane Kedy Mangamba épse Koum was installed on Friday 6 September by the Minister of Public Health.
The Douala General Hospital now has a new Deputy Director General following the Presidential decree signed on 13 August 2024 by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul Biya. The new Deputy Director General, Prof. Danielle Christiane Kedy Mangamba épse Koum, was installed in her functions on Friday 6 September 2024 by the Minister of Public Health, Dr Manaouda Malachie.
During this installation ceremony, the Minister called for strict respect of hierarchy and full cooperation with other team members. He also called for quality services to be provided to all who come to the hospital. He reminded everyone that the Douala General Hospital is currently the largest regional reference in terms of health facilities, and as such they must do their best to meet the standards. Dr Manaouda Malachie reiterated his sincere gratitude and encouragement to all the hospital's medical staff for the work done and the progress made in terms of the quality of care provided and the efforts made in the quest to humanize the Cameroonian medical system.
The installation, which took place in the presence of the administrative authorities, traditional rulers and political leaders, was also a moment for the Minister to call for everyone's cooperation.
