NBA Rising Stars Tournament : Yves Missi Selected

Cameroonian basketball player Yves Missi of the New Pelican has been selected to compete in the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars, a showcase of the NBA's brightest young talents. The event will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Chase Center in San Francisco as part of NBA All-Star 2025. The NBA made public the list of players on January 28, 2025.
20-year-old Missi, a promising rookie, is among 10 NBA rookies selected for the prestigious event. The Castrol Rising Stars will equally consist of 11 NBA sophomores (players in their second NBA season) and seven NBA G League players (minor league of the NBA).  The 21 NBA players’ (rookies and sophomores), selected by NBA assistant coaches, will be drafted onto three seven-player teams.  The seven NBA G League players, selected by the league office, will comprise the fourth team. The draft for the 21 players will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
