Buea : Bilingualism Commission On Field Work

They visited primary and secondary schools and then the Regional Delegations of Education.
The National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism on April 28 and 29, 2025, measured the state of bilingualism in some structures in Buea, seat of South West Regional capital. The mission was headed by Justice Benjamin Itoe and Barrister Nico Halle. They visited South West Regional Delegations for Basic and Secondary Educations, Government Nursery School Buea Station, Bilingual Grammar School Molyko, Government Technical High School Molyko Buea, St Joseph College Sasse among others.
In the various institutions, they shared their experiences on bilingualism and multiculturalism. They looked at the strides covered, setbacks and possible solutions. Nico Halle insisted that living together in peace is very important for national unity. That every Cameroonian has the right to live anywhere on the national territory. Benjamin Itoe said on their previous visits to several institutions, a key recommendation holds that bilingualism should be well nurture in primary and secondary schools reasons they are in the field to effect that.
