Marie Princesse Ndoun Issie will represent the country at the 72nd edition of the global beauty pageant taking place from May 7 to 31, 2025 in Hyderabad, Southern India's Telangana state.
25-year-old Cameroonian model, Marie Princesse Ndoun Issie, will represent the country at the 72nd edition of Miss World Beauty pageant in India. The former Miss Cameroon and breast cancer advocate announced her departure to the public on her Instagram account, where she shared a video in which she narrated her modelling journey so far, along with a flyer announcing her departure form Cameroon at the Yaounde-Nsimalen International Airport on May 5, 2025, for India. She has secured an eighth participation for Cameroon at the major event, marking her second appearance as she looks forward to break records.
The world's most prestigious beauty festival, Miss World, spans over a period of four weeks, featuring intensive phases for the 116 contestants from various countries across the world. With Telangana hosting this year’s global event, the opening ceremony is set to take place at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on May 10, and will feature artistic performances from local talents, according to a news source in the host country.
