Entrée en 6e : Nalova Lyonga Satisfied With Exams Conduct

The Minister of Secondary Education visited some schools in the Centre Region as pupils wrote their first competitive examination yesterday, May13, 2025.

Primary school pupils nationwide yesterday May 13, 2025 wrote their first Competitive Entrance Examinations into secondary schools. Those in the English subsystem of education wrote the Common Entrance Examination while those in the French subsystem of education wrote the Competitive Examinations for the 1st Year General and Technical Education known as “Concours d’entrée en 6ème”. On the occasion, the Minister of Secondary Education, Nalova Lyonga made a tour to some examination centres in the Mefou and Afamba and Mfoundi Divisions in the Centre Region. The visit permitted Minister Nalova Lyonga to evaluate the unfolding of the exams which she rated as satisfactory; void of violence and indiscipline. 
The Minister and her entourage made the first stop at the Government High School Nkozoa in the Mefou and Afamba Division where 249 pupils had registered for the examinations. Serenity reigned as pupils wrote the exams. However, 16 candidates were absent. 14 out of 576 in Government Bilingual High School (GBHS) Nkozoa were also absent. At the Government High School Nguosso, Ngoulmekong, 18 out of 640 candidates were absent.  Other irregular cases were also witnessed at the Government High School Nkolbisson. The exams kicked off as early as 8:30 a.m. with “Dictation” and later “Questions”, “Problème”, “Culture General” and ended with “Calcul Rapide” for the Francophone pupils.
