The commitment to a successful event was underscored at a meeting held on May 28, 2025, in Yaounde. Chaired by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, the gathering brought together key stakeholders, including the President of the Cameroon Cycling Federation, Honoré Yossi, and representatives from various partner administrations.
After the comprehensive session, which included an assessment of security, transport, accommodation, and technical aspects, Minister Mouelle Kombi laid out clear directives. He emphasized that dedication would serve to showcase Cameroon's "legendary hospitality" to the world and stressed the importance of making final organizational adjustments to guarantee the smooth flow of the event. He also expressed a strong desire for Cameroonian teams to participate honourably and urged communication regarding any challenges encountered.
