National Alliance for Democracy and Progress (ANDP) : Striving To Expand Base

Historical facts indicate that the National President of the National Alliance for Democracy and Progress (ANDP), which has as National President, Hamadou Moustapha has been an alliance with President Paul Biya of the ruling Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) with regards to the Presidential election. Created on August 31, 1995, the political party has, through the elections organised in Cameroon, always supported the candidacy of President Paul Biya of the CPDM, beginning with the 1997 October Presidential election. It was the same situation in 2004 when the executive bureau of ANDP met in September of that year and decided to support the candidacy of Paul Biya.
