Professional, Amateur Clubs: FECAFOOT Allocates FCFA 280 Million

An ordinary session of the Executive Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), held in Yaounde on March 27, 2017.

The Cameroon Football Federation has decided to grant special subvention of FCFA 280 million to professional and amateur clubs having participated in championships organised by FECAFOOT during the 2015-2016 football season. The subvention will be deducted from the income from the victorious participation of Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon 2017. The decision was reached on Monday March 27, 2017 in Yaounde during an ordinary session chaired by the President of FECAFOOT, Tombi A Roko Sidiki in the presence of the president of the Cameroon Professional Football League Pierre Semengue. The executive committee has also decided to create an Ad hoc Committee in charge of  monitoring State subventions for national teams.
The members also focused on the development of youth and women football in the country by facilitating the creation of women and youth football leagues to ensure the smooth take off of these leagues.
