Joshua Osih : Second Presidential Attempt

The flag bearer of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) for the October 12, 2025 Presidential election is counting on his past experiences in national elections to produce better results. Following the validation of his candidacy by the elections management body, Joshua Osih is participating in the race to occupy the Unity Palace for the second time. His first participation was in 2018 where he emerged fourth, going by the results published by the Constitutional Council. Indeed, he was again elected by the party on March 1, 2025 as their representative for the Presidential election during an extraordinary convention in Yaounde. 
Joshua Osih who joined the SDF in March 1991, is a Member of Parliament for the Wouri Centre constituency in Douala. He was elected legislator in 2013 and became the first Anglophone Cameroonian to serve as a Parliamentarian in the aforementioned constituency.
