Song Bahanag Returns Home

Former Indomitable Lions Captain, Rigobert Song Bahanag, who was undergoing treatment in France for the past six months returned to the country on Saturday April 1, 2017.

It was a mammoth crowd that thronged the Nsimalen International Airport to welcome the former Indomitable Lion and national team coach for the Intermediate Lions of Cameroon. Many fans, relatives and well-wishers went to the airport to make sure the news about the arrival of the former Lion was not April fool.
The public filled the International arrival lodge of the airport and even the entrance to wait for the football legend. Security officers were equally at work to restore peace and order as the people waited anxiously for their idol. “We have been waiting at the airport for hours. The flight was at 6:00 p.m. We know he has already arrived. We cannot leave without seeing Rigo,” said one fan. At the arrival hall Song Bahanag greeted the crowd as appreciation for their love and concern for him.
