The Voice Kids Finale Cameroon’s : Miriam Obama Silenced

The 12-year-old singer, was eliminated in France on October 4, 2025 at the first phase of team Soprano’s selection.
The 2025 “The Voice Kids France” musical competition is over, but the presentation of Cameroonian born Miriam Obama, will continue to touch hearts in the Soprano team, although she failed to shine up to the final stage of the competition.
Miriam’s journey in the music contest ended on October 4, 2025, during one of the team’s final phase. After performing the rhythm “All The Man I Need” by Whitney Houston, the team’s coach Soprano chose another candidate, Ella, to move on to the “grand final” after she performed Zaho and Sagazan’s “Symphonie.” After Miriam Obama’s elimination, many fans took to social media to criticize coach Soprano’s decision. According to coach Soprano, his objective is not for the children to win the contest, but for them to have a good time. He added that his decision was not because of her performance, but because the next round which was the “grand final” required a different fit, and Ella would better cope in it. The decision was certainly disappointing for the young contestant and her fans who took to different social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok to say Obama may not have won “The Voice Kids France”, but is already a winner in their hearts through her awesome performance.
Born into a family of singers, Miriam Obama confessed on a TV interview that, she has always been grateful for their persistent support, which has fuelled her growth and progress in the profession.
