Youth Connekt Cameroon : Dev’t Actors Acquire Digital Skills

The weeklong convention currently going on in Yaounde features varied sessions on digital innovation and usage.
In a bid to acquire digital skills that meet the world’s rapid digitalization paradigm, Cameroonian youths are currently in Yaounde for the 6th edition of the Youth Connekt Cameroon Convention.
Scheduled to hold from December 8 to 13, 2025 at the National Museum and the Yaounde Conference Centre, the convention has united like-minded individuals making strides to provide sustainable digital solutions to ills plaguing the nation. Assembled under the theme, “Artificial intelligence and the Socio-Economic integration of youths: Opportunities and challenges”, the Convention’s second day held on December 9, 2025, at the National Museum, and was climaxed by a scientific conference on, “The impact of Artificial Intelligence on the development of the marketing and commercial function of Cameroonian Business”.
Enlightening attendees of the scientific conference, a panelist, Dr. Gilchrist Mboundja De Hoga, revealed that generative AI helps business owners to do research, develop targeted marketing strategies, create content, facilitates communication, market optimization, and monitoring and evaluation of digital activities. While generative AI helps business owners generate targeted content that meets their audience’s needs, users are urged to be assiduous and stay professional with the use of AI development. “AI is not a panacea, as such, users should be cautious to fact-check every information generated artificially”, Dr. GilChrist Mboundja advised.
