27th Convocation : UB Celebrates Academic Excellence

The University of Buea (UB) held its 27th convocation from Thursday, December 11, to Saturday, December 13, 2025, awarding degrees to over 4,800 graduates across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Horace Ngomo Manga applauded the graduates, saying, “The quality of our graduates reflects the success of the university. Today we celebrate students who have achieved excellence at every level.”
Guest speakers Professors George Elambo Nkeng and Mbu Robinson Enow urged the graduates to appreciate the value of education and to prepare for the challenges of the future.
The three-day ceremony showcased a rotation of faculties. Thursday featured the Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters (ASTI), College of Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Laws and Political Science, and Faculty of Science. Friday saw graduates from Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Arts, Education, and Social and Management Sciences, while Saturday concluded with the Faculty of Health Sciences.
