14th WTO Ministerial Conference : Logo, Audio-visual Identity Presented

A working session of the Sub-Committee for Communication on the upcoming meeting took place at the Ministry of Communication yesterday February 3, 2026.

Ahead of the 14th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) to be held in Cameroon from March 26-29, 2026, the logo and other audio-visual aspects of the high-level meeting have been presented. This was during a working session with the Sub-Committee for Communication of the Ministerial Conference comprised of a visiting delegation from the WTO that took place yesterday February 3, 2026 at the Ministry of Communication and chaired by the Secretary General, Prof. Felix Zogo at the behest of the Minister, René Emmanuel Sadi.
The conference logo as presented by Manolo Michelucu of the visual communication unit of WTO, is round like a ball with the reunification monument at the centre of the circle. It is seated on the national flag and star clearly seen. The national colours of other member countries of the Organisation circle the logo with the borders principally in the colour of white. With Cameroon being the host, the colours of the national flag are given the pride of place in both the logo and other visual aspects of the conference. With the conference having been codenamed, MC14, visual communication rooms and backgrounds would have at least writings in three languages; English, French and Spanish. The welcome message to guests to the host city (Yaounde) and country (Cameroon) would also be in the three aforementioned languages.
The goal is to enhance communication and the understanding by every participant.
The logo and other visual communication elements will be affixed in conference rooms and the hall walls or other spaces allocated for official pictures. From the main entrance of the Yaounde Conference Centre (site to host deliberations) right up to the building itself will be affixed the flags of member countries of the WTO. There will also be a broad banner with the theme of the conference. During keynote speeches, there will be a giant screen to project the speaker, both at the background and at the entrance to the hall, to enable those who would not make it into the hall to be able to follow proceedings.
