Naomi Eto: Significant Strides

The 2024 Cameroon women’s Ballon d’Or currently on loan from PSG to Italian Serie A side Sassuolo Calcio, is having a laudable career this far.

Unlike some past Cameroon Ballon d’Or recipients who might be struggling postaward, the 21-year-old Naomi Eto stands out positively. Signed by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Féminine in Ligue 1 on a two-season deal, she was immediately loaned to Italian Serie A side Sassuolo Calcio for the 2025-2026 campaign to aid her development. Eto's journey began at age 14 with the Roger Milla Football Academy. She burst onto the scene with Guinness Super League side Amazone FAP, where she rose to the undisputable star and finally winning the 2024 Ballon d’Or organised in February 2025.
