Tabaski: Moment Of Joy, Solidarity

Some Muslim vulnerable families received some food stuffs from AMEF on Saturday May 30, 2026.
In the spirit of joy, friendliness, and warmth, the Tabaski Feast (Eid al-Adha) once again brought the Muslim community together to share support with people living in difficult circumstances. In this light, the humanitarian association known as A MEAL FOR ALL (AMFA), on Saturday May 30 offered some food items to some needy Muslim families in Paraiso-Nyalla in the Douala III Subdivision. The initiative reflects the festival’s core values of sharing, generosity, fraternity, and living together while ensuring that those who are most vulnerable are not forgotten. According to the president of AMFA, Paraiso Alli Aïssatou, the true character of the event lies in what it represents beyond material assistance, care, solidarity, and compassion. She said this second edition, AMFA’s Solidarity had to offer a warm moment specifically for people who are disadvantaged, those without shelter, abandoned or isolated individuals as well as orphans, widowers, widows, and elderly men and women. She explained that the goal was to create a festive and convivial experience so that everyone can celebrate Eid in dignity. The ceremony on Saturday May 30, brought together over 200 families including orphans. AMFA members also used the opportunity to hold conversations with the vulnerable persons to bring hope and smiles, and sharing a warm meal that embodies kindness and mutual support.
