Camp Yeyap: Trainees Obtain Certificate On Musical Option

Closing ceremony of the sixth Technical Aptitude Certificate No 1, took place yesterday, April 12, 2017

 

After six months of military musical training, some 63 trainees out of the 68 enrolled at Gendarmerie School and Training Centres Headquarters in Yaounde, have received their Technical Aptitude Certificate No 1, musical option from the hands of the Director of Central Coordination of National Gendarmerie, Brigadier General Daniel Elokobi. The event which was graced with a military march past from the trainees took place yesterday, April 12, 2017 in Yaounde.   
While reiterating the role of music in the military corps, which goes beyond enchantment during ceremonies and the entertainment of soldiers, Brigadier General Elokobi said military music has an important dimension as it reinforces the link between the military and the population.
