The Minister of Public Health hereby informs the health personnel of the Medical corps and the public that the organization called “Syndicat des Médecins du Cameroun (SYMEC”, which called for a strike action by medical doctors all over the national territory as from 17 April 2017 does not yet have  a legal existence, in conformity with Law N° 68/LF/19 of 18 November 1968 of professional associations or trade unions not governed by the Labour Code.
