Implementation of SND30: Partners Draft Collective Framework

Strategic stakeholders met in Yaounde yesterday, July 29, 2026 to fine-tune a consultation charter that supports the implementation of Cameroon’s National Development Strategy.
D evelopment actors together with local and international stakeholders met in Yaounde on July 29, 2026 for the maiden meeting for the partnership consultation framework geared to wards the implementation of Came roon's National Development Strategy 2020-2030 (SND30). The ten-year plan presented by the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute, on November 16, 2020, outlines the development goals and strategies for the country over the next decade. According to the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Alamine Ous mane Mey, the multilateral and bila teral partnerships are vital levers to facilitate Cameroon’s efforts towards the structural transformation of the economy and the improvement of so cial welfare that aligns national and international commitments on the economic, social, and environmental levels. To him, these are necessary steps towards Cameroon’s vision 2035 for emergence. Underscoring the relevance of a united front by all concerned actors, the Uni ted Nation’s Country Representative in Cameroon, Issa Sanogo, entreated the partners to put all cards on desk in order to transform dialogue into action and visible sustainable results. The commitment, he said, would help Cameroon achieve its earmarked plan for sustainable development in priority areas like industrialization, agricultural modernization, energy infrastructur...
