Tatiana Ngong is a young Cameroonian actress who is yet to find the script that will make her bring out the true actress in her
Her name might not ring a bell in the film industry in Cameroon, but the 23-year–old Tatiana Ngong is an uprising film actress who hails from Noni Subdivision in the North West Region, but grew up in Douala, in the Littoral Region.
Her love for humanity brought her into the world of cinema with a special emotion to relate with situations and circumstances especially when they are not good, as she always feels like she needs to help in anyway be it morally, physically or financially. With Tatiana Ngong, it all started last year with the movie Expression and Life.Point which was the first Cameroonian film and only movie from the Central African Sub-Region to be selected for the official competition at the 2017 Pan African festival, FESPACO in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Recently, Tatiana Ngong acted in the movie “A Man for the Weekend”.
The Upper Sixth Student who resides in Douala says her career in the film industry is a passionate one after music. “I have nursed and am still nursing ambitions of being a major figure to be discovered on television when it comes to film acting in Cameroon. “I want to be a connecting point between my audience and their situations irrespective of the message my character is passing”, Tatiana notes. Although Tatiana has not had many on-the-set experiences, the little she has acquired has been fun filled although to her it gets tedious being on set but amazed at the end with the output.
The young actress has not faced a lot of challenges in the film industry. But the most remarkable ones are in relation to her script and scenes performances. Whatever the case, Tati is yet to find that script that will make her breathe out the true actress in her.
