How would you size up the 20th edition of the University games?

I am very delighted about the success story of the 20th edition of the University Games. The games were simply fantastic in Bambili. There was fair play, fraternity, probity and innovations during which we were happy to discover genius and talents in students of the nation’s universities and higher institutions of learning. The Higher Education family is happy for the collective efforts that produced the successful games in Bambili. The ambiance was great and I thank the Governor of the North West Region, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Bamemda and her very dynamic team. I thank all the Rectors, Vice Chancellors of State Universities, promoters of private Higher Institutions of learning, athletes, officials and Fan Clubs for work that inspired success. I am a happy Minister of Higher Education.

What impressed you most at the games?

I am the more impressed by the fact that all rectors, vice chancellors and promoters of private higher institutions of learning are very committed to improve the country’s higher education system.
