Kumba: A Suspected Gang Leader Arrested

He was arrested by the elements of the Gendarmerie Company in  his Fiango hideout

 

A suspected armed bandit whose names we got as Akwo Francis has been arrested in Fiango Kumba. He was caught in possession of one locally fabricated pistol gun and eighteen cartridges.
According to the Meme Gendarmerie Company Commander, Mbarga Benjamin, the armed bandit was apprehended when they were preparing to go out for their routine operation in the evening of April 21, 2017 while his two accomplices escaped for their dear lifes.
Explaining to the Senior Divisional Officer, SDO, for Meme Ntou’ou Ndong Chamberlin, who visited the gang leader in his Gendarmerie cell, the 24 year old armed suspected bandit, Akwo Francis, said he was a father in Ediki a village neighborhood in Kumba. He disclosed that he was only invited by one of his accomplices by name Ambe James alias Jimmy who is at large as he sensed danger. He said it is the same Ambe James who has been inviting him out for such operations and that he is always coming from Douala.
