Peace and Security: Central African Experts Brainstorm In Yaounde

The have to make  recommendations to the Commission for  Defence and Security of the Council for Peace and Security in Central Africa (COPAX)

 

The members of the Commission  for Defence and Security (CDS) of the Council for Peace and Security in Central Africa  (COPAX), will hold  their 17th  ordinary session in Yaounde on May 5, 2017. In prelude to the meeting, experts started brainstorming at the Djeuga Palace Hotel in Yaounde on Tuesday, May 2, 2017  on proposals and recommendations they will present to the Commission members for endorsement on security issues in the Central African Sub-region.
Colonel Melingui Nouma Donatien who opened the experts meeting on  behalf of Cameroon’s Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenent General René Claude Meka, welcomed the experts and other participants. urging them to make appropriate proposals and recommendations in view of tackling security issues in the Central African Sub-region.
