National Unity: Youth Showcase Values of Togetherness

A four -day exhibition Forum organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education will be officially opened in Yaounde today.

As it is every year, Cameroon celebrates its National Day on May 20. This constitutes a time of strong fellowship and a right time for assessing the progress made in the process of strengthening ties among the people of the same country, promoting cultural and linguistic diversity as wealth, affirming patriotism and above all adhering to the same vision. It is against this back drop that in preparation for the 45th Edition of the National Day Celebration in Yaounde, on the theme “Army and the Nation in full Synergy for a Cameroon, United in its diversity and devoted to the ideal of peace, stability and prosperity,” the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education (MINJEC), is organising a four -day exhibition forum in Yaounde under the patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Head of Government.
The four -day exhibition forum that opened yesterday May, 15, 2017 is expected to end on Thursday May 18. The event is taking place at the National Museum in Yaounde. During this forum, there will be exhibition fair such as gastronomy, promotional sales of basic commodities, a theme-based exhibition on the changes in Cameroon history, citizenship and solidarity activities such as citizenship walk coupled with religious teaching caravan, special blood donation and cultural and socio-educational...
